ACTIVITIES AT THE START
 What not to forget – and what to look forward to?

It’s here! We’ll see you at the start this Friday – and we can’t wait!
Before everything kicks off, let’s go over the Friday program and what you can look forward to, not only during check-in.

FRIDAY CHECK-IN

As tradition dictates, team check-in takes place on the Friday before the race – that’s May 9th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Please have your “Race Participation Declaration” form signed by all team members and ready to hand in at the registration desk. You can download the form directly from this e-mail or find it in the captain’s section, ready for printing.

Upon submitting the signed declaration, you will receive:

  • A relay wristband

  • Vouchers for partner gifts

After that, just get a good night’s sleep. The race starts (for some :-) early on Saturday at 4:00 AM! The start will be hosted by our moderator, Radek Hrdina.

STARTING GATE PHOTO 

During Friday registration, take advantage of a unique opportunity to have a team photo taken at the starting gate – and later compare it with your finish line photo. Let’s see where you look better!

PICKING UP E-SHOP ORDERS & VR MERCH

Of course, our MERCH tent will be at the start, with a wide range of Vltava Run items: clothes, magnets, glasses, caps, headbands, notebooks, sunglasses – and this year, beautifully colored glass markers too!

Most importantly, you’ll find the limited edition PUMA & Vltava Run collection there!
Cash is faster, but QR code payment will also be available if needed.

You’ll also be able to pick up your e-shop orders at the same tent – just provide your name and order number. We’ll find you in the system. 😊

If needed (and depending on availability), you can exchange your race T-shirt for a different size if it doesn’t fit – as long as you didn’t order personalized printing. Personalized shirts cannot be exchanged.

SUPPORT FOR EVERY STEP YOU TAKE

We’ve arranged for top physiotherapists – the kind who work with professional athletes – to be available both at the start on Friday and at the finish line on Sunday. Thanks to the joint initiative of ESTEVA Rehabilitation Center and Kine-MAX, you can enjoy:

  • Free consultation with a physiotherapist, including examination and recommended follow-up

  • Free taping, which can help with performance, recovery, and injury prevention

  • If time allows and the line isn’t too long, they may also offer extended treatments or pre-race prep for individual runners

GET BRAIDED!

Want a hairstyle that lasts from start to finish? Then visit the Tomas Arsov booth – where your hair will be braided into stylish, durable plaits.
Each team member will also receive two Tomas Arsov products to keep you feeling fresh and comfortable throughout the race.
