THE STARTER SETS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO YOU!
...and along with them – a brand-new app!
Dear runners,
This year, we’ve tried to make the starter pack distribution easier for the team captain – but don’t worry, no one will miss out on anything!
The starter pack may already be on its way to the captain’s address – it could even arrive today!
What’s inside the package?
RACE NUMBERS – A reminder to distribute them according to the last rotation (legs 25–36). Note that the runner of the final leg has a blue number with a timing chip!
ID WRISTBANDS – Everyone must wear theirs at the beginning of the race and keep it on until the finish line.
PUMA EDITION RACE SHIRTS – What’s been ordered will be delivered! Whether you chose personalized prints or not, we believe the shirts will look great on all of you. If a size doesn’t fit and you'd like to swap it, stop by during registration at Zadov – we’ll do our best to exchange it for one that fits :-) Please note this only applies to shirts with the #VLTAVARUN on the back. Custom-printed shirts unfortunately cannot be exchanged, but new hashtag shirts will be available for purchase on-site.
PARKING CARDS – You won’t be allowed to park near exchange zones or at the finish line without them! Make sure to write the driver's phone number on the card – it’s important in case we need to contact you about a blocking vehicle (hopefully we won’t need to, but better safe than sorry!).
VLTAVA RUN STICKER – Each car should be marked with the large Vltava Run sticker. It’s our way of identifying fellow racers on the road – so we can wave to each other as we go!
TRASH BAG – Leave the kilometers behind, but take your trash with you. Trash bags are included in the kit to help ensure the only thing you leave behind are footprints from your running shoes.
RACE PARTICIPATION FORM – This won’t be in the starter pack this year. All team members must sign this form and hand it in at check-in at Zadov. You can download it [HERE] or find it anytime in the captain’s section. Without this form, you won’t be allowed to start the race. At registration, it will be exchanged for your team relay stick.
That’s it for the kit this year. BUT!
At the check-in desk – once you hand in the signed participation form – you’ll also receive GIFT VOUCHERS from our partners. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Please note: there are no printed race instructions this year. They’re available only in digital form – don’t forget to download them from the captain’s section. They include route descriptions, surface details, elevation profiles, and QR codes for both runners and drivers. All the key info – right at your fingertips!

NEW VLTAVA RUN APP
As we’ve already announced, a brand-new app is coming this year! It will be available for download by the end of this week on both Google Play and the App Store. Here’s what’s new:
We all struggled with the trackers last year – so there won’t be any this time. However, the app will show all your handover pass-through data.
If you’d like to share your live location on the course, please use third-party apps (e.g. WhatsApp, etc.) for that.
You’ll get push notifications, so you don’t miss a thing!
The app will include all the key info you might need on the route – like where to sleep, where to eat, what’s happening along the way, at the start, and at the finish line.
Just like last year, the app will include our race hotline. Please send all your inquiries through it – we’ll handle everything as soon as possible! 🙂
You can also report any injuries or runner replacements via the app.
